Went out yesterday in brodick bay, at a place called Cladach.
The wind was on the verge of not quite being enough, but during some of the gustier times fun was had. called it a day when the wind dropped to almost nothing when I was a fair way out and it took ages to sail back in.
The beach was like being abroad with sunbathers and the odd swimmer.
Really enjoyed my first time out this year, hopefully only the beginning.

Not been out yet this year what with one thing and another. looking forward to my first go of 2009.

Went out on Saturday (23-08-08) at Brodick opposite cladach and had a great time in the higher than usual winds and found myself planing several times. practised my falls as well.

hi my names john.
I will be visiting Arran for the weekend on 18 July. My mate Dougie has the boathouse at Clachan (across from the brewery). I will camped there for the weekend.
If you want to meet up, I will bring my kit. I`ve nly been sailing since last year, so it would be good to have some company on the open water...I usually sail at Lochwinnoch, so its pretty safe.
